The First Profession of Vows of 13 Novices!

Today at the Novitiate house in Lai Thieu, 13 novices received their first vows. Fr. Francis Vu Tran, the District Superior is the main celebrant, joined by SCJ concelebrants and other priests. In his homily, he speaks about the call of vocation in religious life. Its all about to find the call of God and listen to God’s voice. Mother Mary is a great example for our vocation. Her “Ecce Ancilla” and her attitude to do the will of God, especially in times of difficulty and trouble is a precious lesson for us in our vocation.

This is the first time we have a Novices program in Vietnam. We are happy to have the first fruits, 13 Novices profess their first vows. We hope and pray that they will bear more fruits for the District in the future.
